Privacy — Folder Creator

Short version: Your text stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded. There's no tracking.

What this tool does with your data

When you type a folder layout into the tool, your text is processed entirely on your own device by your browser. When you click "Download as .zip", the file is built right in your browser and handed straight to your browser's download pop-up. I never see your text, your folder structure, or the resulting file.

What I don't do

No accounts, no logins, no email collection.
No tracking scripts, no analytics, no ads.
No storing or reading anything you type.

Third-party libraries

The page loads two small JavaScript tools from public hosting (Cloudflare's free CDN): one that packages files into .zip format, and one that triggers the download. Loading these reveals your IP to that CDN — the same thing that happens when you visit any website that uses a CDN, which is most of them.

Server logs

Netlify, the company that hosts this page, automatically records standard server logs whenever anyone loads the site (IP address, time, browser type). This is normal for any website and I don't do anything special with those logs.
